This song is based on the journal of my Great, great, great, great grandmother from the year 1890. I had the pleasure of reading through her journal - where she left an entry for each day of that year. It was a simpler time, and folks were sick often, but they seemed happy and connected. This is my best at giving some insight in her day-to-day.
