Go to Hell 03:17
You did me so damn dirty rotten and now I'm all broken apart Don't you know that it's a sin to be breakin' and stealin' hearts You said I ain't got a shot in this world well baby what about the next The way you put me down it was downright devilish So go to Hell my darlin' Down here I might have a chance Maybe the devil will cut me a deal for some Goddamned romance We could get together Deep under the ground Go to hell my darlin' so I can see you around Eternal burning inferno can't compare to the pain I'm in I'll never make it passed the pearly gates I hear the dress code's pretty strict I'm down on bended knee by a lake of fire with a brimstone wedding ring You said I had a snowballs chance and I'm uglier than sin So go to Hell my darlin' Down here I might have a chance Maybe the devil will cut me a deal for some Goddamned romance We could get together Deep under the ground Go to hell my darlin' so I can see you around They say that Hell is other people Well baby I had you in mind When you told me to head straight there I'd hoped you weren't far behind I have been a bad man I know I'm bound for a fire pit But we could be a match made in H-E-Double Hockey sticks

There's a plague that is raging in a place I once called home The cold is biting like a frightened dog and I got no place to go There's a certain silence that settles under the snow My hands are shakin' for a number of reasons and I got no place to go So drug me or drag me or knock me out I need an excuse to lie on the ground But I'd like a chance at one last dance Before I get run out of this town I'm reaching out for help again, this must be getting old But I am too and it's no longer cute to have no place to go In my Auto Biography these characters never grow But it's hard to get your shit together when you've got no place to go So Jesus Christ if the end is near I sure hope it will arrive soon I've been waiting around to die In someone else's living room I pick up pieces of poems, try to make them my home I am longing for belonging and I've got no place to go I guess the grass is always greener on the other side of the rolling stone The meaninglessness of freedom is easy to see when you've got no place to go I'm all on my own Like a complete unknown With no direction home No place to go

Well, I've done wrong I've been so lonesome Got nobody left to love No sweetheart to write to No home to return to So I flirt with the stars up above Searching for meaning in everything I don't see anything But the moon swoons me once again These stars they all burnt out a long time ago We've got that in common my friend I must apologize that I don't see you much I've been living in that over lit city But here on the mountain side I've been trying to look deep inside I can't help but notice you're lookin' awful pretty Searching for meaning in everything I don't seen anything But the mysterious unknown shining bright These stars they are all so far away We've got that in common tonight Ever since I was a child I'd sit in wonder My head back, slack jawed in awe Shoot across the sky and grant me a wish If that ain't love I don't know what is Sometimes I worry about my earthly journey What have I done, what will I do What stories will they tell While I'm burning in hell Went looking for love and I found you Searching for meaning in everything I can do anything Now that I am lost in space These stars go on forever and they never ask why We've got that in common thank grace

I get my drinking water from the food co-op because the tap here ain't too great all the cars parked in the lot have tailgates with an awful lot to say opinions and support ribbons and their virtues on display attempts to explain the state of the world today But, it don't fit on a bumper sticker
